to Basketball
A 6-week introductory basketball program for Years 1–4 students at Groves Christian College. From first-timers to young players keen to sharpen their game — all skill levels welcome. Qualified FCF coaches lead every session, with special guest pro players and leaderboard challenges throughout the term.

Professional basketball players join sessions as special guests — inspiring young athletes with real pro experience.
Leaderboard Challenges
Athletes track their progress with weekly skill challenges and a competitive leaderboard throughout the term.
Qualified Coaching
FCF-qualified coaches run every session with structured plans and individual feedback.
6-Week Curriculum
Expert FCF coaches guide students through a fun, structured program designed for all skill levels.
Basketball Fundamentals
Dribbling basics, body control, and building confidence with the ball in both hands.
Footwork & Movement
Pivots, jump stops, and the foundational movement patterns every player needs.
Shooting & Finishing
Shooting form, lay-up basics, and finishing at the basket with control.
Passing & Teamwork
Chest passes, bounce passes, and learning to read and move as a team.
Defense & Game IQ
Defensive stance, footwork, spacing, and understanding roles within a team concept.
Game Day & Celebration
Live games, special guest appearance, leaderboard awards, and a celebration of the term's growth.
